Thanksgiving Dinner Service

Hello everyone,

We hope everyone had a blessed and warm Thanksgiving weekend. We just want to start off by sharing a Thanksgiving verse with everyone:

“Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever.” 1 Chronicles 16:34.

At Living Water Mission, we held a Thanksgiving dinner service at the Mustard Seed Kamloops. Despite our current situation with the pandemic, we believe that we always have reason to give thanks. This is because we feel the Lord’s steadfast love for us, which does not change with our external circumstances. We also want to give thanks to our wonderful community, and for the opportunity to safely come together to spend time in worship and gratitude.

As pictured above, at our Thanksgiving service we had Mike share his touching testimony with everyone. We were also fortunate to have Lise-Anne play the harmonica beautifully for our service. Thank you to all of our participants and volunteers on this day!

Please stay safe, and take care!

Restart

Hello everyone,

We at Living Water hope that everyone is staying safe and well.

We wanted to give you an update on what has been going on with us here in Kamloops. We have started up a few of programs while abiding to BC’s Restart Plan guidelines. These programs include the following:

  • Group Bible Study every Friday at 3PM (socially distanced at tables, masks encouraged)
  • Dinner Service every Saturday at 4:30PM (maximum capacity of 25)

We also had the exciting and unprecedented (in Living Water history!) opportunity to have a socially distanced, outdoor baptism at the River of Life Church. Thank you to everyone at the River of Life Church for their help and support.

We are continuously praying for everyone’s spiritual and physical health and wellbeing. Please take care, everyone!

An Update

Hello all,

It has been quite a while since our last update. With the pandemic going on, we had put an indefinite halt to all of our meetings and services. While our meetings had been put on pause, we have been providing contactless food deliveries to the Mustard Seed and Crossroads Inn with the help of our amazing community. However, as we are in Phase 3 of BC’s Restart Plan, we have decided to start up our dinner services at the Mustard Seed once again on a small scale. We are taking the precautionary measures to keep our attendees safe.

We had the pleasure of having Gage, Jennea and Beatrice at our dinner service. Gage is one of the staff members of the Mustard Seed during this summer, and he shared his testimony with us on Saturday. Jennea and Beatrice shared their lovely voices with us during the service. A big thank you to Gage, Jennea and Beatrice for joining us at our dinner service!

Please stay safe and take care, everyone! We are continuously praying for everyone during these difficult times, and hope to see everyone soon.

Our Response to COVID-19

Hello everyone,

With the heightened concerns around the coronavirus (COVID-19), we at Living Water have decided to put an indefinite pause on our meetings and dinner services to be mindful of our community and do all that we can to remain safe and healthy. Although we are not able to gather during these times, we hope that everyone will be able to take this time to enrich their personal relationship with God individually. With that in mind, please stay safe, take care, and keep praying during these difficult times. We hope to see everyone again very soon.

Floor Renovations

We have wonderful news for Living Water Mission! Thanks to the generosity of Jordans Flooring Outlet in Kamloops, we have been blessed to be able to renew our office’s carpeting. Furthermore, an employee from Jordans had even kindly assisted us in installing the new carpet. With the help of a few wonderful people, we laboured for hours in the evening to be able to proudly show off our new carpet!

A big thank you again to Jordans Kamloops, our wonderful helpers, and the generous & almighty Lord!
